(Video from ~2 months into the project: one of our first trials using our new sensing code to detect the walls)Īs part of UCLA's DataRes organization, I worked on a project called the "comma.ai Programming Challenge" where we used PyTorch and semi-supervised learning We weren't able to compete in the Micromouse competition, but we were able to successfully design a mouse that could navigate through a maze without getting stuck.

We designed our mouses's PCB and coded a floodfill algorithm to best efficiently find the center of the maze. We used Eagle and CubeIDE toĮdit our schematics and C code. I participated in this IEEE Micromouse Event with 2 teammates to create a mouse that would be able to autonomously navigate a 16x16 grid. Your browser does not support the video tag.
